Exclusive Drumming Photos
This large format book brings together some of the finest unseen photographs of legendary drummers. It is a unique collection of pictures brought together by the author David Phillips, who over five years has been given rare access on stage and behind the scenes to many of the biggest bands in the world. Over 80% of the drummers in From the Riser: A Drummer’s Perspective II were not not featured in book 1.

The book features over twenty hundred artists including drumming legends, session players, master technicians, rock stars and metal gods. It includes acoustic and electronic kit players, percussionists and covers a wide range of genre’s including jazz, rock, indie, blues, progressive rock, metal, fusion, pop, heavy rock, big band, funk, Latin, R & B, grunge, industrial rock players to name but a few!!
Each picture is accompanied with details of where and when it was taken, recollections and anecdotes from the author, together with tour memorabilia such as backstage and photo passes and set lists.
